Inspector (Manufacturing) / Owego, NY

Will be responsible for reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings/Blueprints, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches to verify manufactured hardware is compliant to the requirements.
Inspect hardware to the specifications and make decisions as to acceptance of hardware according to criteria.
Responsible for properly filling out non-conformance reports, inspection tags and other inspection document as required.
Physical requirements of this position will require standing, sitting, walking, light lifting and bending to perform the job.
Basic Qualifications
Working experience with IPC-600, IPC-610, IPC-620 or J-STD-001 industry standards in conjunction with printed wiring boards, circuit card assemblies, cables, and harness assemblies.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Desired skills
PWB fabrication experience
IPC-610 and 620 certified
Experience with SAP/Microsoft Office

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
