### Summary
About the Position: Defense Contract Management Agency uses the Expedited Hiring Authority to recruit and appoint qualified individuals directly into shortage category or critical need acquisition positions.

Reviews contracts and technical data packages to identify the specification requirements which the contractor's processes must meet.
Establishes and maintains communications with contractor's top management to ensure understanding exists for acceptable quality evidence for purchased materials, vendor controls, shipment, key process measurement and analysis.
Designs, plans and implements an effective risk management program to ensure that all threats to the successful delivery of the contract are addressed and mitigated in the Government's best interests.
Performs risk assessments and analysis, relying on relevant customer, supplier performance, and Government data, and assigns risk ratings to quality systems and key processes.

Position requires employee to wear uniform and/or protective clothing.
Possession of a valid state driver's license is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Non-Critical Sensitive Secret security clearance.
Must file an annual financial statement.

### Qualifications
Individuals in this four-year Emergency-Essential (deployable) status can expect repeated deployments to combat locations overseas in support of contingency operations as mission requirement are determined. These locations are typically in a designated combat zone. Generally, the deployed work locations have power, water, heating, and air conditioning, although outages should be expected. The living conditions will vary widely: ranging from having all basic amenities such as light, power, water, refrigeration, to not having one or more of these amenities. Environmental conditions at work locations may range from excessive heat and humidity to extreme cold and rainy.
Physical demands during deployment include: Lifting a minimum of 45 pounds, ability to hear and wake up to warning alarms and hear instructions in the absence of visual cues, live in austere working and sleeping environments, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment, including protective masks, ballistic helmet, body armor, and chemical/biological protective garments.Prior to placement, selectees must sign Contingency Response Force (EE) Conditions of Employment. QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the equirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-09 . Specialized experience is defined as: Independent performance of Quality Assurance principles used to audit, inspect and accept specialized and unique processes used in manufacturing and testing electronics assemblies. Experience evaluating and inspecting production methods, processes and testing techniques being performed by contractors. Experience performing quality data analysis and evaluation. Experience performing process reviews and product examinations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
