Staff Program Manager

Description: Small Unmanned Air Systems \(SUAS\) is a market segment within the C6ISR business area of Rotary and Mission Systems \(RMS\)\. This Program Manager position is in support of the overall SUAS product line and multiple current contract including the Desert Hawk III program with the UK MOD and the USAF AFRL Advance Power Technology Office \(APTO\) Condor Program\. The DHIII Core program is mainly a sustainment type contract with Spares and repairs being the main deliverables\. The APTO contract is a follow\-on development to develop, test and deliver a Condor system to AFRL\. An important part of this job is in support of business development to sell Condor to various Government agencies\.
An Owego, NY \-based position, SUAS Program Manager reports directly to the ISR & UAS LOB Director\. The position works closely with the functional organizations, including Engineering, Quality, Production Operations, Global Supply Chain, and Production Planning and Controls, supporting startup and performance on SUAS\. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the following:
? Managing all phases of SUAS from business development to Program execution\. Monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications\.
? Responsible for P&L on all SUAS Programs
? Responsible for yearly Sales and Orders plan execution and fulfillment
? Responsible for Performance Excellence execution\.
? Responsible for ensuring compliance with C6ISR , Lockheed Martin, US and international government policies and procedures\.
? Liaise with export control to ensure all Technical Assistance Agreements and licenses correctly reflect the program scope\.
? Monitor staffing needs and ensure GRID is up to date\.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering, Management, or a related technical / leadership discipline
- Program management experience
- Management and supervision of multi\-functional personnel
- Management and supervision of managing subcontractors and suppliers
- The candidate must be a proven team builder and problem solver
Desired Skills:
- Experience with UAS systems and/or aircraft programs, including management of technical team
- Experience managing development programs
- Understanding and experience within UAS industry
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Willing to travel as needed
