Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Engineering Associate Manager to lead our Electrical Systems Installation Engineering unit in Owego, NY, supporting the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business unit. As a Leader in RMS, you will be an integral part of employee development and technical execution of RMS's broad portfolio programs, including helicopters, integrated air and missile defense, littoral warfare, undersea warfare, radar, electronic warfare, cyber solutions, C4ISR, and training and logistics systems. The business area supports the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency, as well as intelligence, civil, commercial and international military customers. Typical platforms include HH-60W Combat Rescue, MH-60 SEAHAWK, and VH92A Presidential Helicopters, and C130 Hercules Transport, KC-135 Stratotanker, and P3 Orion Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
This management position will be accountable for direct reports who research, develop and design system level electrical schematics, interface control documentation including interconnect & wiring diagrams, system power distribution & power factor correction units, performing system / device power gap analysis and qualification, and electrical loads analysis. Other duties include providing design direction to peers, designers and manufacturing regarding cable harness design, build and installation, and processing engineering releases through change management systems.
Specific job responsibilities of this management position include:
HR management of all department personnel (mentoring and providing technical / personnel leadership)
Providing a positive influence on the productivity and morale of the department
Supporting staffing actions to include workload analysis, succession planning, recruiting and retention initiatives
Delivering effective, efficient and consistent engineering services throughout program life cycles
Creating, capturing and analyzing metrics aimed at maintaining or improving department health indices
Aligning and integrating design activities with Digital Design Environment (DDE) processes
Working seamlessly with counterpart engineering organizations and departments
Occasional travel will be required.
Candidate must be able to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse New York. Owego sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what's known as the Southern Tier" section of New York State. Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated Leadership skills including communication, coordination, inclusion and planning skills, along with a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering.
Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience with common design and configuration management processes, and standard design tools.
Familiarity with military / industry specifications and standards for cable / harness design, fabrication processes and aircraft installation.
Experience with Earned Value Management.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
