Contract Negotiator Asc

Description:This position is part of the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) within the Finance and Business Operations function. The program lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 years (may vary based on employee's start date) and typically consists of a rotational experience, formal mentor and 'buddy' programs, and a standardized training curriculum; all of which are designed to provide a broad background in the finance and business operations functions.
Support to the P-3 Program and other C4ISR & Unmanned market segment activities. Job duties will include:
Review of requests for proposal and preparation of risk assessments.
Proposal preparation, contract negotiation (with U.S. Government and commercial customers)
Preparation of correspondence between LM and various customers.
Provide support to other contracts professionals and LM business partners as the need requires.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Acquisition and/or procurement experience.
Experience with basic financial principles, such as orders, sales, EBIT, cash.
Experience with various U.S. Government contract types and FAR/DFARS.
Experience with commercial contracting.
Knowledge of contractual agreements such as non-disclosure agreements and proprietary information agreements.
Active Secret security clearance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
