Perform duties as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the across multiple programs at the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missions Systems site in Owego New York.
Major duties include ISSO responsibilities as defined as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) directive, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the DSS Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM). Duties include, but not limited, weekly auditing of the information system, certification & accreditation activities, and coordination and supporting secure systems operations and maintenance. Responsible for system security, testing and system accreditation activities. Develop and implement government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked and standalone classified computers and coordinate government agency approvals.
Will conduct or oversee self-inspections and will maintain compliance with the RMF, NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, corporate directives, pertinent DoD Information Assurance (IA)/Cyber instructions and other government contractual security commitments.
Responsible for writing, implementing, and maintaining system security plans; updating contingency plans and any disaster recovery plans required by government customers. Expected to conduct ongoing security reviews and tests of the IS to periodically verify that security features and operating controls are functional and effective and utilize security-related software for the detection of malicious code, viruses, and inside threat intruders (hackers) as appropriate.
Expected to have a working knowledge of RMF, NISPOM and Information Assurance requirements as well as technical understanding of hardening and mitigating a variety of hardware and software.
The position requires an individual with a record of success as a team member and motivator. Must be familiar with standard MS Office applications, be a self-starter, a disciplined worker and have a professional reputation for integrity. Telecommuting is not available for this position.

Knowledge of supporting Information Assurance activities as either a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer and familiar with JSIG/RMF, NISPOM and Certification & Accreditation processes
Technical background with information technology
Must be able to work flexible hours
Experience with Windows products, LINUX products, and UNIX operating systems
Applicant selected maybe subject to an additional government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Certification as directed in DoD Directive 8570.01M (CISSP)
Desired Skills:
Auditing experience and System Security Plan Development
Previous ISSO and/or System Administration experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
